Henderson Wins Innovative Excellence Award

Ronda Henderson, Department of Business Communication and Entrepreneurship, received the 2013 Award for Innovative Excellence in Teaching, Learning, and Technology. The competition was open to the entire university.

Henderson will represent  Jones College and MTSU at the International Conference on College Teaching and Learning in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, in March, where she will make a presentation about her work and be honored at a special awards ceremony, which will include the presentation of a trophy.  She will also be the MTSU nominee for the Ernest L. Boyer International Award for Excellence in Teaching, Learning and Technology.

Favorite Professor

Ken Hollman, Martin Chair of Insurance, won first place in the Daily News Journal's Ruthie Awards in the "Favorite MTSU Professor" category.

Global Commerce

Global Commerce: Tennessee and the International Economy, produced by the Business and Economic Research Center, received the 2013 award of excellence in electronic publications from the Association for Business and Economic Research. The quarterly online newsletter about Tennessee's exporting activity is written by Steven Livingston and designed and edited by Sally Ham Govan.
