Obituary: Dr. Richard Hannah

Dr. Richard Hannah
It is with deep sorrow that we inform you of the passing of Professor Richard Hannah.

Dr. Hannah, Professor of Economics, was found dead of apparent natural causes in his Murfreesboro home on Wednesday by Murfreesboro Police.  Department Chair, Dr. Charlie Baum, had become concerned after Dr. Hannah missed classes on Monday and Wednesday and had initiated efforts to locate Dr. Hannah. 

Dr. Hannah was a valued member of the faculty and will be greatly missed by his colleagues and students.

We will provide additional information as it becomes available.

    He was one of the best professors I had at MTSU. And he was still young. Very sad....

    I agree. I loved Dr. Hannah! This is a tremendous loss for students at MTSU.

    I am devastated to hear this news. Dr. Hannah was a wonderful professor. I loved all the courses that I have taken that was taught by him. He is a brilliant man, and he will certainly be missed!

    I just found out - this is ridiculously unfair! :( he was the best professor I had, and the only one who remembered my name even after I graduated.... He was the best and will be sooooooooooo missed.... Life is unfair.
