Jones College Maintains Double AACSB Accreditation

Jones College has maintained its business and accounting accreditations from AACSB International. Only 183 institutions—less than 1.5 percent of all collegiate business programs in the world—have double accreditation for business and accounting from AACSB.

MTSU Business Plan Competition 2016

The Wright Travel Chair in Entrepreneurship Business Plan Competition, open to all current MTSU students and alumni, is the year's main Entrepreneurship event through Jones College of Business at Middle Tennessee State University. Prominent early-stage company investors, entrepreneurs, and business leaders from the middle Tennessee area will judge the presentations by the final student teams.

It is designed to help students and alumni in launching new business ventures, including for-profit businesses, not-for-profit businesses, corporate entrepreneurship, and social enterprise. Participants enhance their MTSU learning experience, gain feedback on ideas, develop networks, and expose their ideas to potential investors.

  • 1st Place Prize - $7,500
  • 2nd Place Prize - $5,000
